I wouldn't say I'm a pomade connoisseur, but I've tried enough of them to know what I like and don't like. This is the best stuff I've found. It has a pleasant but not overpowering scent, rubs in well into my hair, and softens perfectly over time. But by far the BEST part of this pomade is the HOLD. My hair aggressively wants to move forward and down, and this is the only pomade I've found that actually keeps my hair up into position! And it does so without leaving my hair stiff. I was bummed they took this product off Amazon, but it's one of the few products I will go out of my way to buy. Cannot recommend enough. Will continue to buy as long as they make this product.

I have used the Original Pomade, Unscented for several years now and it is excellent in everyway. It is also hard to find a pomade that is unscented that works as intended. Recently, I encountered an issue with an order and Battle Born customer service easily resolved the issue in a timely manner and were communicative. I would highly recommend their products and creating a relationship with this company.

I have been looking for a pomade for about 6 mos. This is the ticket if you have fine curly hair and what to create fullness. The scent, coming from a female's opinion, is not the greatest, but I'm willing to get over it because of the results it gives. Bonus points for being in a glass jar, also!!

I have a short pixie type cut and love their products. Tried their matte finish. Love the smell and that it has natural ingredients. Holds my stuff Asian hair well. It also is very good to my skin!

To start with let me mention the outstanding customer service who has gone above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the product. This product is one of the very best I’ve ever used and it will probably be my go to pomade! The only thing is, I wish it had a stronger scent of BayRum otherwise it’s a keeper for sure!

I've tried many, this is the best. Does not dry out my scalp, washes out easily, and my wife loves the subtle scent to it.

I've been using Battle Born Grooming products for a few years now. Specifically, the original water- based pomade. Having grey hair proves challenging in that each hair has a mind of its own. I really like this pomade because it doesn't harden like a gel does which makes it simple to run a comb through it throughout the day. Its holding power is great and it doesn't add a lot of shine. It washes out easily too. I generally apply just a small amount while my hair is still damp and then comb my hair for the day. I have tried the clay based pomade as well and find it to provide a stronger hold but it tends to harden a bit more than I prefer. Overall, I get complimented on my hair and I think this pomade is a wonderful product. A single jar lasts a really long time providing a great value.

Great for long/thick beards, soothing subtle scent! Easy to wash out!
